Trip description

Pre-check in River "Chill Spot" : (see pic below) Just down the road from the campround there is a dirt road to secluded, quiet spot on the Delaware River to swim, hang & chill w snacks & beveys.

CAMPING: (see CAMPGROUND MAP below) Only a few campgrounds right on the river so book early!
CANOEING IS RIGHT FROM THE CAMPGROUND and the SHUTTLE US BACK
There are NO SHOWERS at this campground (jump in the river)

Check-in is after 3:00 pm.       Check-out is by 11:00 am.

CANOEING: We depart from the campgrounfd and they shuttle us back to the campsite.
Highlights:

  • pull over on river to vist cool bar for shot & a beer
  • Paddle in NY, NJ, PA
  • Cool rope climb to a cliff jump
  • Canoe Rental is from Indian Head Canoe Rentals.
  • Route "KNIGHT EDDY to Matamoras" (6 miles), 4+ hours
  • canoe rental is $50/person
  • camping $20/night per per person ($40 for 2 nights)
  • TOTAL camping 2 nights and canoeing 1 day $90 (plus tax and fees)
